Located in the heritage-laden lanes of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, the Food Court is a public project that reinterprets the concept of a Bazaar in this modern world. While the 6-8 kiosks serve the public with local delicacies, the courtyards create a social open space for the visitors to interact and relax. From the interconnecting courtyards and long arcades to the stone Jaalis and a unique material palette, the Food Court transports the users to the past of their heritage and culture. The project is an exploration of experience through all five senses, from sight to taste through the lanes of heritage and culture.
